When is a litre not a litre? Unfortunately, ten months of the year!

Temperature shrinkage costs UK fuel oil distributors £22 million a year. To reduce this, MechTronic is working together with the National Measurement and Regulation Office to establish temperature compensated mid-distillate deliveries on tankers carrying our metering equipment.

This could provide an average annual saving of up to £8,000 per tanker – a cost-effective solution for road tanker based deliveries.
