Ultima Oil is a family-run business with over 30 years of experience within the fuel industry. Ultima Oils were seeking an innovative and reliable electronic metering system that would support their busy delivery demands while effectively preventing fuel contamination.
After researching different options, Ultima Oil discovered MechTronic’s OptiMate electronic metering system, which was launched in 2016 with full anti-cross contamination features and automatic processes to meet customers’ fuel contamination prevention requirements.
In July 2023 they took their first OptiMate.
A truly automatic system that delivers
Ben Firth, Sales Engineer at MechTronic went over to Ireland to deliver driver training and said: “One of the features that impressed Ultima Oil was OptiMate’s self-draining manifold, which automatically empties before introducing a new product when a line change is required to prevent any possible contamination.” Ben goes on to say: “The driver was also impressed by OptiMate’s automatic line and compartment change functions. These automatic processes enable the driver to set a standard delivery to include an automatic line and/or compartment change at the end, without having to return to the tanker to enact the process. This provides a more efficient and safer delivery that prevents fuel contamination.
