We are devoted to providing exceptional service to our customers all over the UK. Thanks to the success of OptiMate, we have experienced a significant increase in sales, with over 700 units now in operation on the roads. To enhance our service offerings, we have expanded our team of engineers to nine.

Our team of engineers is strategically located across the UK, and we’re thrilled to announce that Ian Hepple has recently joined our team. He will be based in East Anglia.

Ian is a highly qualified engineer who has previously worked in the medical robotics industry for four years. There, he serviced equipment that could be used to perform keyhole surgery remotely using a console and robotics arms. Before this, he worked in the photonics and aerospace industry.

When asked to describe himself, Ian said, “I am a supporter of Luton Town FC, and I am also into fitness. I hit the gym most evenings, and I enjoy playing squash, football, or boxing in my spare time. I also love to travel and visit new countries whenever I can.”

Ian is a highly motivated and self-driven Engineer, with the eagerness to jump on board and assist MechTronic in providing a brilliant service to our customers.

Ian is currently undergoing training at our Head Office in Leeds and will be on the road shortly!
