J&J Fuels is a local family owned and run business based in Boston and distibutes agricultural diesel, gas oil and other fuels across South Lincolnshire since 1977.

In 2018, J&J Fuels took delivery of an OptiMate system, Andrew Jacklin, Operations Director at J&J Fuels said: “We made the decision to invest in OptiMate as we were particularly impressed with the contamination prevention procedures it offered and the automatic line change functionality.

“We supply a number of farming communities and often the customers fuel tank can be some distance from our truck therefore the ability for our drivers to perform a line change without having to return to the vehicle has significantly reduced our delivery times.”

Andrew continued: “Since we started using OptiMate, we have seen increased reliability and fuel efficiency savings across our business and as we invest in our fleet, in September 2020 we will take delivery of another OptiMate electronic metering system with a third built later this year.”
