Lissan Coal Company’s Oil Division (LCC Oil) was established in 1997 and supplies oil products to domestic, commercial and industrial customers across Ireland.

Michael Moran, Operations Manager at LCC said: “We were looking for a metering system that was easy to use but could also provide increased reliability and driver efficiencies. We received a demonstration of OptiMate and liked the automatic functionality that it provided.

“In 2018, we decided to install four OptiMate’s across our fleet. Two have been in operation since September (the other two are due on the road in early 2019) and drivers have already commented on the simplicity of using the new metering system. The automatic processes that OptiMate provides, protects our drivers against a potential contamination and takes away some of the stress they can face during a busy delivery schedule.”

Michael continues: “The automatic processes that OptiMate offers in terms of the line change protocol was of particular interest to us. We were also impressed by the simplicity of OptiMate and that it can be controlled by just three buttons, it also offers our drivers the ability to amend their route to meet changing customer requirements without worrying about performing a line change.”
