OptiMate is an innovative and reliable electronic metering system that has been built with the operator in mind and supports you with your busy delivery demands.
In 2016, OptiMate was launched with full anti-cross contamination and automatic processes to meet our customer’s fuel contamination prevention requirements and features a range of automatic processes including:
- Its self-draining manifold is automatically emptied before introducing a new product when a line change is required and prevents a possible contamination
- Automatic line change means the driver can set a standard delivery to include an automatic line change at the end without having to return to the tanker to enact the process
- Automatic compartment follow-on means the driver no longer needs to return to the road tanker to enact compartment changes. This means more efficient and safer deliveries that prevent contamination
OptiMate is futureproof. Our latest release provides hose/bulk and gravity metering through the same accurate turbine meter – regardless of the delivery method, every litre of fuel is metered and accounted for.
At MechTronic we are now a distributor for Pollard Pumps and these pumps are now included as standard in our OptiMate metering kits.

Self-draining manifold
An industry first that further enhances a cleaner line change and protects fuel oil distributors against contamination. MechTronic’s self-draining manifold automatically empties before introducing a new product when a line change is required and prevents a possible contamination.
Automatic compartment follow-on
OptiMate supports product delivery from multiple compartments (that contain the same product), once a compartment is empty – without the driver needing to leave the point of delivery.
Automatic line change
This function enables the driver to set a standard delivery to include an automatic line change at the end of a delivery without having to return to the tanker to enact the process. Automatic line changes can be created regardless of whether you are making a hose, reel or bulk delivery.
Fully optimised delivery setup and intuitive software
OptiMate recognises what product was last delivered and what is in the hose – drivers can be confident and assured that OptiMate will not permit a wrong compartment or product to be selected and so prevents contamination.
